On February 119th, we held one of our occasional film evenings at the Victoria Ground, home of Bromsgrove Sporting Football Club.
This time we showed the French film – Le Concert the story of a former conductor of a Russian orchestra who finds himself in Paris when they do a tour.
About 30 people attended and enjoyed a pre-film drink in the main Rouslers Bar. No further film evenings are planned at present but if that changes, all members will be notified
The problems of showing films is the high cost of buying a public viewing licence (~ £200 p.a.) and permission from the County Council (~ £25) for a public event. We are confounded by bureaucracy.
However, any suggestions welcome.
My partner and I absolutely love your blog and find nearly all of your
post’s to be exactly what I’m looking for. can you offer guest writers
to write content in your case? I wouldn’t mind producing
a post or elaborating on some of the subjects you write concerning here.
Again, awesome site!

So it looks as if you have put a comment and it has come though on my email. That looks promising. I am busy preparing a press release for the Lottery (high priority) so I will have a look in my detail later. That they are coming through to my personal email address is fine and it shows your (the sender’s) email address so that is essential if I need to reply. Great so far!
